ARRIVAL PROCEDURES FOR SZEGED DURING THE SZIA2024
- Should you arrive from non-Schengen country, make sure that you have informed Szeged Airport in order to arrange border crossing
- Should you need any flight before the air show make sure that you have informed Szeged Airport in order to arrange slot before 15:00LT on Friday
- Indicate your fuelling request at first contact, to avoid congestion at the fuels station
- Be patient on the radio, avoid x-transmissions. Use short, proper communication,

Be ready for the HOLDING over SIERRA or NOVEMBER according to the chart. Holdings for aircraft will be issued
on different altitudes to reduce the workload.
SIGHTSEEING FLIGHTS
If you you plan for a local scenic or sighseeing flight, pls consider the follwing route. For flying in the TIZ no Flightplan is required, but MODE C or S transponder with two-way communication is mandatory. Scenic flights are only in the available dep/arrival periods are available. Click here for the timetable. For takeoff and landing the grass area east of the grass runway may also be used.

DEPARTURE PROCEDURES FOR SZEGED DURING THE SZIA2023
- No departure during Air show program
- Air show ends at 19:30 LT on Saturday
- Indicate your fuelling request contact the AFIS crew at the tower to avoid congestion at the fuels station
- For organized departure of high number of aircraft coordinat your requested time of departure contact the AFIS crew at the tower ,during coorindation please indicate or contact the AFIS crew at the tower if you would like to perform any „good-bye overshoot”
- Should you depart with a non-Schengen destination, please contact the AFIS crew at the tower to coordinate border crossing.
- Before start-up contact Szeged AFIS on122,810 Mhz for clearance and departure slot to avoid congestion on TWY/RWY. After start-up and taxi expect to change frequency on holding point A to frequency of. 128,810 Mhz
